A submitted form is only the first step
A successful browser message does not establish that an enquiry reached the CRM or a payment updated an order. We follow the agreed event through each system and check its recorded result. Vendor API limits, subscription features and application changes can affect the integration. New custom development and ongoing vendor monitoring are separate scope decisions.
Verify the complete form-to-business workflow
A form can show success without delivering its message. Trace validation, application handling, SMTP/API processing and final mailbox or CRM receipt. Use approved synthetic data without real customer secrets.
- Map destination and integration owner.
- Test validation and representative submissions.
- Inspect provider response and receipt.
- Check errors, retries and duplicates.
Check delivery at every integration stage
API keys use an agreed secure channel. Rate limits, plans and unsupported APIs may alter scope. Define failure ownership and retry behavior before automation can send duplicate messages or create repeated records.
| Layer | Evidence | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Interface | Required fields and useful feedback | Not delivery proof |
| Provider | Accepted/rejected response | Not final inbox placement |
| Destination | Expected record received once | Duplicate controls depend on integration |
Example: form success with an SMTP rejection
A provider rejects authentication while the form shows success. Trace a test to that response, apply the authorized correction and repeat destination checks. This is an illustrative scenario, not a customer case or a promised result.
